*****PLEASE HELP ME!****** How can I style my hair for my wedding?

My hair length in 2 inches below my shoulders. I want to wear it down. But don't know what to do with it! Please Help!!!!!!!!

*****PLEASE HELP ME!****** How can I style my hair for my wedding?

Depends on your face shape but i personally like that length curled with large barrel curls.....a little bit tighter than a loose wave. Then I like some of the front pieces lightly pulled back. If you want to wear a veil you then could where any head piece where ever you choose. If you do, make your veil and headpiece detachable if you are wearing a veil. This way you can have your hair done and have your hairdresser place your tiara / and veil too if you like or you can put the veil on right before and take it off later without messing up your hair. Another little tip. If you are wearing a veil and want it to look positioned a certain way. When you get it exactly the right way you can lightly spray it with aerosol hair spray. (If you want it to have a little volume on top - would be the only reason to spray it) It doesn't show up on the veil either. Congrats! Also if you have bangs I think they look best worn to the side, if not even better with this style.

Did you ever think of going to a beauty salon and get a professional stylist to do your hair?

*****PLEASE HELP ME!****** How can I style my hair for my wedding?

straighten it out and get a cute pin and wear it on your hair...or you can get a little ponytail to the back of your head and leave the other hair down...but if you want to wear it down it's ok or just wear it your natural way...sometimes natural means beautiful whichever way you feel comfortable.Happy Styling!!

Leave it up, real pretty, and enjoy your special day.

*****PLEASE HELP ME!****** How can I style my hair for my wedding?

Go to a salon and have them try out a couple different styles. Most stylist will do this for you if book them for your wedding. You can also take it pictures to help them. Be sure to take a picture of the style you like, so she can make it look the same.

You could put your hair half up. Just pull back a little bit of hair on both side up to the back. You could also do spiral curls or completely straighten your hair.

*****PLEASE HELP ME!****** How can I style my hair for my wedding?

It also depends on the style you want to portray at your BIG day. If it's a classic look, you should put a few waves in your hair. You can never go wrong with big curls, either. But whatever you do, don't decide to color your hair days before the big day because you risk the dye not being how you want it and you're basically screwed.

Depending on your vail...most long hair styles are done in a spiral, wavy style. Or the sides are normally pulled back away from the face, which shows your profile much better for pictures. But if you want a more elegant look, wearing it up in curls, cascading down to your shoulders is beautiful. Hope this helps, and many happy years together.

*****PLEASE HELP ME!****** How can I style my hair for my wedding?

Go to a stylist. But I suggest that you don't do anything crazy or elaborate! Simple is better! Less to go wrong! Ya know no curls falling out, or updos falling down! maybe a little braid around each side. A lot depends on what type of head gear you are wearing.

-Up and watch those annoying long bangs (my granddaughter's words). She went against her instinct and tried something new AND decided it woud look nice to have her bangs a little longer and not trimmed. Every picture, movie we have seen of the wedding she focuses on the hair - she wishes she had:

--didn't try anything fancy or new - should have left it the way she is most comfy and that is the way her now husband met her and fell in love with her

--bangs too long

--she had the hair highlighted day before - not good (she said)

Bottomline, go to the hairdresser at least 2/3 times before the wedding. Have pictures taken with your digital camera. Keep them all in the camera. Then watch on the largest TV screen you can - and you will see what is the best.

--remember to take whatever you are going to wear on your head to the hair dresser.

--if you are getting highlights or hair coloring, do it on the first visit.

-- you didn't mention, but my granddaughter wore the most comfy shoes she could find - flats! - nobody can see them under the wedding dress - she was so happy and comfy...and she started wearing them around the house a month before the wedding.

and last but not least, as a planner many a wedding for family and friends - THIS will be the most important day in your life besides the day when your children are born. BE Happy, DON'T sweat the little stuff. Pick your battles....be happy and have wonderful memories of this special day (and DON't go out on a hen party the night before - spend that evening with all the women family members - remember, watch a movie, eat popcorn - have fun! - enjoy your loved ones as soon you will start a new life.

If you want to let it down, put some soft curls to it. Most brides put their hair up so that flowers or other hair decorations can go on your hair. It's up to you how you want to wear your hair to make your day beautiful.

Hair for sister's wedding?

I am wondering how I should wear my hair. Here is a picture of the dress I am wearing: http://michelleandmark.blogspot.com ...

It is going to be outside and like 70 some degrees. It is in Michigan so that is probably going to change... lol

I have these dark blue heart shaped earings I am going to wear and some black stilettos with a flower detail...

My hair is about mid way down my back so it's really long and its thick It's a medium brown... I'm short so the dress is kinda long on me ... it's like mid calf length... but will be about knee length when i'm done editing it lol (im making it into a bubble hem)...

Oh, with this dress should I wear a bunch of long dangly necklaces or a tiffany heart necklace... or what kind of necklace.

Please include pictures of hair styles... and maybe how to do them... if it is intricate...

Thanks a bunch!

Hair for sister's wedding?

First off......no to the "bunch of long danly necklaces". For weddings, always try for "timeless elegance"

Simple is best. The pictures will last forever. (just look back at your 5th grade picture) Long hair looks good curly and pulled back in a low, loose ribbon or other clasp.

I want to wear my hair curly for a wedding. What style should I go for?

I have shoulder length light brown hair with blonde highlights. I always wear it straight when I'm going out, but i fancy a change so I've booked in my hairdressers to get it curled on Saturday morning. I have a heart shaped face and I don't really know what style would suit me.

Also am i better getting it done with the tongs or heated rollers (I haven't got time to get it done with GHDs) ? Which would be most likely to stay in all day?

Any advice welcome!!! Thanx!

There are a lot of "what if's" here.

I don't know if you live in a humid climate or what but usually for something like a wedding it's best to go with the curling iron. Honestly (and from a hairdressers point of view) it would be even better to find a picture and go in a day or two before the event to just chat a few minutes with him or her about what you think you want. That way it's not so stressful when you go in there the morning of in a hurry and leave unhappy because you didn't have time to get your ideas across.

That said, It all depends on how much effort you want to spend on it after you leave the hair stylist. If you don't mind keeping a small bottle of hairspray in your bag...i think just wearing it half up with a pretty clip is a very nice look for the summer(however if your going to be dancing the night away, it might fall and stick to the back of your neck). If you don't want to mess with it at all or if it's a very fancy evening wedding then i suggest wearing it all up. If your going to wear it super curly then your stylist can probably just start pinning pieces back and have it look lovely. I'm not a fan of having it all swept back (especially if you have a heart shaped face) the look is very severe and very few people can pull it off. I suggest a side bang (or a fake one if you don't have bangs) and then just have your stylist finger comb the curls back and pin them up. it's an easy going style that looks very nice for many occasions. Like i said in the beginning, it all just depends on the environment you'll be in and how well you communicate to your stylist.

I want to wear my hair curly for a wedding. What style should I go for?

I would say go for soft waves rather than actual curls. The hairdresser will know what to use, I would suggest taking a picture in. This one is good:

I want to wear my hair curly for a wedding. What style should I go for?

i would have to suggest tongs in my experience heated rollers are pretty crap and the curls dont hold as well!!!! just make sure you use plenty of hair spray before and after you use the tongs!!! if your looking for speed GHDs are much quicker than tonging your hair dresser will be able to do it in half the time, as you have a heart shaped face almost any style will suit you!!!! good luck

I would try this... they've got a pretty cool updo gallery section. http://www.the411onhair.com/updos.html hope that helps you out with trying to find the right look for you. You might also want to try the contact us link if you have any other questions.

i think that an updo would be very classy for this event. it will be easy for you to maintain during the evening. just tease a little here and there and add a little shot of hairspray every couple hours.

your hair is not long enough to pull to really curl that much. they will have to do more smaller spiral curls . i am not sure you will like it as well.
