Cute hairstyles?

Ok, so I have a darkish blonde color hair, and it's 2-3 inches past my shoulders. Friday I'm going to go get my hair cut and done because I'm going to a wedding on Saturday. I don't want to get it cut short because it looks horrible on me. I need both advice on a haircut and styles for my hair. Thanks

Note: My mom wants me to have my hair straightened but there are so many different ways you can have it straightened

I'm trying to impress a guy here....

Who has time to help me?

long hair.. oh la la .. leave them loose.. with just a little tuck in at the back or side,, whatever suits your face cut.. with a diamond clip.

Who has time to help me?

Put your hair into a bun but leave out the first few strands of your hair. Curl those. It looks really hot.

Who has time to help me?

Try a french braid, or some other kind of braid that shows off your neck, bare necks and I'am assuming that your dress has a drop in the back are very sexy. You show hot already.

Is it appropriate to dictate my bridesmaids' hair?

In my wedding, I really want all of my bridesmaids to wear their hair up in some sort of updo (not necessarily all the same style) and I want to be the only one who has my hair down. I don't want to be the overbearing bride, howevever and I'm really not sure if it's appropriate to suggest hairstyles to them. Any thoughts?

Is it appropriate to dictate my bridesmaids' hair?

If you had a photos and insisted that your bridesmaids all exactly copy the hair style in the photo, that would be dictating. Asking if anyone has a problem wearing their hair up off their collar is a positive thing, a step toward consensus. Instead of you doing the suggesting, have each of the BMs submit a few pix of updo's to you for your approval. Bridesmaids who feel like they have a big say in their clothes and hair and stuff are happier, more helpful bridesmaids.

If "homemade" chigons and twists won't do and it must be a salon created style, you should offer to reimburse any reasonable fee. In that case, each BM should check ahead of time with her hairdresser to make sure it can actually be done -- some styles are just not compatible with some heads. You Always Have Other Options, they say.

Is it appropriate to dictate my bridesmaids' hair?

You can make suggestions and you can even pay for it. However, it is not your place, whether it's your wedding or not, to demand that your bridesmaids MUST have their hair in some manner. Not all women look good with their hair up, for instance, or they may not be able to afford to have the styling done.

Is it appropriate to dictate my bridesmaids' hair?

Yes, you can but you will have to pay for the stylist. The bridemaids should be willing to do what you want if they are your friends.

Is it appropriate to dictate my bridesmaids' hair?

You can but if you are requiring updo's then you are also expected to pay the cost of the hairdresser to do them. If for some reason they balk you really have no ground to tell them "put your hair up or you are out of the wedding"....that is total bridezilla.

Personally I would never in my life dream of dictating to grown women how they have to do their hair but some brides do.

Is it appropriate to dictate my bridesmaids' hair?

The way to handle this is to tell the girls what you want and then you pay the bill for them all to go to the hairdresser and get it done...everyone is happy and yes, you do have a great say in what your wedding pictures look like!

Is it appropriate to dictate my bridesmaids' hair?

IT don't hurt to ask as they can only say yes or no.

explain to them that it will make the pictures nicer..

Is it appropriate to dictate my bridesmaids' hair?

Requesting that they all wear their hair up is not being Bridezilla. It is your special day and you should stand out from everyone else, they should understand.

Is it appropriate to dictate my bridesmaids' hair?

If you are paying for it, then ya you can encourage updo's. if not, then nope, inappropriate completely.

I personally wouldn't care if my friend told me to wear my hair up, but I have read a lot of situations where bridesmaids get upset because the brides suggests this.

Is it appropriate to dictate my bridesmaids' hair?

If you pay, you have a say

Good luck :)

Is it appropriate to dictate my bridesmaids' hair?

I plan to tell my bridesmaids how their hair has to be done, but I also plan on hiring a stylist to do every ones hair that day and to pay for the consultation before hand. It is already in my wedding budget. As long as you are paying, nobody can really complain, and it is entirely appropriate. now if you are telling them they have to wear their hair up and pay to have it done, that is a little much.

I am paying for the dresses, hair, makeup, so my girls will look how I want for the pictures, but won't be financially burdened. I think just paying for the hair is fine though. It is your special day, and an updo isn't the end of the world. If they have short hair, they may just have the front pulled back with some loose curls though.

:)

Is it appropriate to dictate my bridesmaids' hair?

I've been a bridesmaid many times and I've also been the bride. In my experience, I've always asked the bride what they wanted me to do with my hair. In turn, my bridesmaids asked me how I wanted their hair. I told them that I really didn't care, but they pushed and I since we all had pretty long hair, I thought we could wear it half up and curled. I also paid for their hair. Have they asked you yet how you want them to wear their hair? If not, you can make suggestions, but in my opinion, a good bridesmaid would ask what your preference is.

Is it appropriate to dictate my bridesmaids' hair?

You can suggest it and if you are paying for it, then they'll have to go with it. But if you're not then just suggest it, for all you know, they could be wanting to wear their hair up. If you aren't paying for it and they don't like the idea of an updo why don't you compramise? What if they had their hair up with a few strands of hair hanging free that can be crimped or straightned or curled.

I agree with people that say you don't want to be Bridezilla ordering what to do. My aunt was a TOTAL Bridezilla. She picked out the dresses(wasn't paying and even if they itched, it didn't matter), hair styles (she wasn't even paying!),shoes (she wasn't paying) and everything else. At her wedding she told the make-up artist what to put on us even if it would be too much and hogged all of the camera light. I don't think you want to be like that.

Suggest and compramise are key. Good luck and congrats.

Is it appropriate to dictate my bridesmaids' hair?

If they have the option of whether or not they want their hair done, then it's on their wallet, but if you have a special request, you should definitly pay for it. There may be someone who can't afford to put their hair in an updo, and it's not fair to put them in that situation.

Is it appropriate to dictate my bridesmaids' hair?

I believe that it is appropriate for you to say how you would like the bridesmaid's hair to be worn for your wedding. An upstyle is more expensive so consider fully funding or partially funding the hairstyles for them. Hope everything goes really well.

Is it appropriate to dictate my bridesmaids' hair?

Yes it is your wedding and your bridemaids shouldn't be upset as long as your happy. You have to please yourself this is your day and should be done the way you want no matter what other thoughts are you want to be able to look back and say i got everything i wanted.

Is it appropriate to dictate my bridesmaids' hair?

No you really can't dictate how they will wear their hair unless you're willing to pay for it. Hopefully your bridesmaids will ask you your opinion though!

Is it appropriate to dictate my bridesmaids' hair?

If you are paying for it, then yes. But if she is your friend, she will do it anyway.

Is it appropriate to dictate my bridesmaids' hair?

Suggest, don't dictate. Just say that you think it would be great if they had updos. Pay for their salon visit.

Is it appropriate to dictate my bridesmaids' hair?

Consulting with them and letting them know your vision, AND asking for their input, is appropriate. Dictating the hairstyles they will wear is not.

Im getting married in december!?

Im tanned color and have short reddish curly hair. How should I style my hair? What kind of makeup should I use? Im also looking for a dress for my wedding im a plus size and dont want to look like a potato in a dress! What kind of dress fits my body style? And what kind of hair do would work best?

Im getting married in december!?

get a dress that draws attention to your chest...Show some skin at the top to draw attention to your neck and face....Also try and find a dress with a decorative mid section or like a tie/band around the high waste line..like right below your boobs. it will give the appearance of a more curvy appearance...so u dont get the potatoe look.......leave hair down!!!

Im getting married in december!?

go to a hair salon. a makeup salon and weddin dress people will help

Im getting married in december!?

To most of us guys we like it when a woman wears her hair down in the natural form with some gel. As for makeup I have no idea.

Im getting married in december!?

Go to a hairdresser and describe the dress to them. They should tell you the best hair style that will match your dress. While your there have your makeup done professionally too. Be sure to have run through a few weeks before your wedding so your not playing around with hair styles the day of, stressing you out.

Im getting married in december!?

do hair colouring and take head bath everyday

Im getting married in december!?

You won't get a decent answer over the internet because we have never seen you. I suggest that you should see three people to make you look even prettier than I'm sure you already are...after all you are going to be looking at these photos for the rest of your life (hopefully)

Person Number One:

Hair Dresser

They will be able to show you certain styles as well as try a few things out on you

Person Number Two:

Wedding gown designer or owner of a shop.

They can give you ideas for designs to make you look like one sexy momma

Person Number Three (All women should go see this person before their wedding):

A personal trainer

They can give you tips and advice to shed a few pounds of fat and shape your upper body (especially good for strapless gowns)

Im getting married in december!?

go to neimans or mac or sephora for the makeup... and a hair stylist for the hair

Im getting married in december!?

go to high quality salon. id get your hair straightened and then curled. and have them put it in a fancy half up and half down ensamble. ask the people in the salon abou the make up. they are professionals and you dont want to look like a clown on your big day. lol

Im getting married in december!?

use gel to lift your hair in the back, pushing your hands in an unward motion. and as fro makeup, brown eyeliners, mascaras, adn eyeshadows work best with red hair.

Hair extensions?!?

I love hair extensions but the last time I had them done I was very disappointed.

I first had them done in 2002. They were blonde Racoon extensions, and they were glued in using a glue gun. I loved them! Eventually the upkeep became too much though and they were dropping out constantly. So I had them removed.

I then had them done again last June for my wedding. This time they were brown as I had changed hair colour. Again they were Racoon and glued. I had them done at the same hairdressers as before. By the time I had returned from Honeymoon in Florida they had started falling out. Everytime I washed my hair some more would come out and I became very depressed by it, so I again had them removed.

But I miss them very much! I have very very fine hair that has no real shape or body of its own.

Are they any alternatives to the usual 'glue' style extensions? Does anyone know of any alternative methods or extension companies?

Any help would be hugely appreciated! xx

p.s. i live in UK

Hair extensions?!?

Use clip ins that you dont have 2 glue or wash with %26lt;3 Melanie myspace.com/thatspoiledbella

Hair extensions?!?

there are new hair extensions available, the clip on ones, a couple of my friends have them and they look really class!! just pop down to the nearest hair dressers and ask if they sell them or know where you can but some.

plus yuo can take them out when you are washing your hair or sleeping!! and they dont fall apart!! :D

Hair extensions?!?

I agree with the clip ons. You can reuse them as much as you like and they look really good.

Hair extensions?!?

I've had monofibre (artifical hair ones) that were really good. I had a whole head done and they lasted really well.

They were put in with tiny plaits half monofibre/half my own hair, a little of the monofibre was then twisted around the plait and melted using a dinky heat gun, sealing the join in place.

The plaits/joins were tiny, no-one saw them and as the heat gun never actually touched my hair there was no damaged done.

When I decided I wanted the extensions out the tiny heat seals were cracked open and the false hair unplaited out. My own hair had never been so healthy.

And even though the extensions were monofibre not one person ever guessed they were fake.

Hair extensions?!?

I know exactly what you mean! You love them but you can't bear the constant worry of the falling out all the time. I eventually had all of mine removes too. BUT...I'm in the middle of ordering some clip-in extensions! They're exactly the same hair that was used last time but their fixed onto this discreet clipping in band. You get three of the bands and your hairdresser should show you how to put them in yourself or for a small fee (around 鎷?) they put them in for you. I find this solution so much better...because I'm not ruining my hair with all the extra weight of the hair extension and glue and I also get to put as much conditoner in as I want.

Hair extensions?!?

hiya, i have clip ins in now, they are great!!! you can have them in or out whenever you use and mine ONLY cost 鎷?5 in total i love them! i got mine from a small shop in town i also live in the UK in walsall. hope this helps x x x

Hair extensions?!?

Don't ever wear extensions again. They always end up making your hair more of a mess then it already is. Use thickening serums, volumizing shampoos and conditioners instead. There's lots of products that can shape hair. Use shaping gel to shape it.

Hair extensions?!?

Try the 'clip' in hair extentions, theyre called that but dont actually clip in, what it is, it's a layer of hair stuck on with glue with little staples, sounds wierd but actually are comfortable, they last about 2 months (they say 3-4 but they grow out) these are also re-useable if you look after them well. Also you can put in as much layers you want (i only put in 2.)

They don't hurt to put in or out and easy to sleep in.

It's a bit of a job washing the hair with the extentions but all you gotta do is be gentle.

Hair extensions?!?

Hi, the extensions you had with the glue gun are called fusion. Some fusion breaks down in salt water. Can you believe I had been doing extensions for years and on My honeymoon I went to Florida and the salt deteriorated the seals. There is pro fusion seal that does not break down in salt water. Today I do mostly cold fusion. This is my preferred method of attachment. They last 3-5months and are shipped to US from Germany. Also known as 1/4"Bonding Strip Extensions. I hope this helps. I know you will absolutely love them. Hair Additions is what I do for a living.

But I found Longlox at Newcastle upon tyne who do dome monofibre which is 3 times lighter than real hair and looks very very real and doesn't fall out! They have a special offer on at the minute for 鎷?50.00 and free spray tan. What is the price range for a simple wedding package?

simple package that includes gown and suits rental, photography, make-up and hair styling

What is the price range for a simple wedding package?

We cut it as close to the vest as we could and it still cost us $3000 for our wedding. We had it at a very nice restaurant down at the beach, had the wedding and reception in the same room. It was only $33 per person (I got a fabulous deal) and we had 60 people. My dress was $200, his suit was $300. We printed our own wedding invitations, thank you card, RSVP cards, and place cards on card stock we got from a wedding site that specialized in wedding stock for printers, that cost about $100 (they looked professional when finished, people were surprised when they found out we did it ourselves). My florist was a friend, and only charged me $250, and my photographer did it for free, again a friend. My hairdresser did my hair as a wedding present, and the makeup cost about $40.

If you aren't having a reception, you can get off pretty inexpensively. Best of luck in your search, and congrats on getting married!

What is the price range for a simple wedding package?

If you are marrying a woman then there is no such thing. Good luck!

What is the price range for a simple wedding package?

I own a country club and handle all of the wedding planning for the club. To the best of my knowledge, there is no "wedding package" that would include your gown, tux rentals, photographer, hairstyling and make-up. These services are all provided by different vendors that each have their own business. There would be no way to "package" all these items unless each of these vendors got together and agreed to some deal. Then the question would be...who would be selling this package??

You did not mention the food or location which is a huge part of a wedding. The wedding packages we have here at Stonebridge Country Club can be found on my website at http://www.golfstonebridgecc.com

The basic package pricing which includes your meal, appetizers, champagne toast, linens, cake cutting, dance floor, planning consultations, itinerary, and all related setup fees and room fees begins at $45.95 per person plus tax and gratuity.

What is the price range for a simple wedding package?

Wow there is no wedding package that includes wedding day attire your own your own with that. Everything esle is included in a package and I say under $!000 USD. For a SIMPLE packages. I suggest a hotel they have inexpensive hotel packages.

What is the price range for a simple wedding package?

The best advice I can give (and I give it to everyone I know that is getting married on a budget, even if it's a large budget) is that you need to sit down, make a list of everything you will need/buy for your wedding (eg. photographer, food, dress, reception hall, flowers, EVERYTHING) and pick out what are the MOST important things to YOU; the areas mean the most to you. Those are the things that you should put a majority of your budget toward. For the rest, EVERYTHING can be cut in costs. There are a lot of ways to still have what you want without spending an arm and a leg. Look around on the internet, there are many site on how to plan a wedding on a budget and easy ways to save money.

I can't do anything for this question

Need advice about bridesmaids dresses. I am having probably 5-7 bridesmaid for my summer '08 we

They are all beautiful and their bodies are all very different....some are skinnier, some a little thicker, some have big chests, some have wider hips etc.

I was thinking about picking the color for the dresses, for example, for example, lilac, but rather than having them all wear the same exact lilac dress that might not flatter their figures, I was thinking of picking out a dress for each girl in that exact same color. That way, they would all match and they wouldn't be uncomfortable w/ the style of their dress.

Have you ever seen something like this? Did you like it? How did it look, especially in pictures and stuff. I was thinking then maybe to make them the same...have something like a matching hair clip or jewelery that would at least make them the same.

What do you think?

Need advice about bridesmaids dresses. I am having probably 5-7 bridesmaid for my summer '08 wedding......

As long as the lengths aren't drastically different, it should look fine. When my boyfriend's uncle got married, the bridesmaids all just wore green dresses, not even the same shade, and it looked fine. I'm pretty sure it will actually look much better to have a flattering dress for each than exactly the same dress that only flatters half of them. The color will tie them together, but the matching jewelry is also a good idea.

Need advice about bridesmaids dresses. I am having probably 5-7 bridesmaid for my summer '08 wedding......

I picked the color, and a two piece dress. Everyone got to pick their own top...worked out well.

Need advice about bridesmaids dresses. I am having probably 5-7 bridesmaid for my summer '08 wedding......

Just don't pick something with a huge bow on the a**.

Need advice about bridesmaids dresses. I am having probably 5-7 bridesmaid for my summer '08 wedding......

I think you should pick a designer and a color. This way the colors will be exactly the same. Tell them to choose for themselves, any dress from that designer in that color. Don't pick them yourself. That defeats the point a little bit.

Need advice about bridesmaids dresses. I am having probably 5-7 bridesmaid for my summer '08 wedding......

Aside from the fact that I am against having bridesmaids (i'm a feminist) i think your idea is one that is overly used.

you do what you want, is your wedding.

Need advice about bridesmaids dresses. I am having probably 5-7 bridesmaid for my summer '08 wedding......

Great idea. It's becoming very common to do that these days.

Need advice about bridesmaids dresses. I am having probably 5-7 bridesmaid for my summer '08 wedding......

I picked two piece dresses with interchangeable tops. They were all cornflower blue but gave each of my bridesmaids the best for her figure! The skirts were all a line ankle length but the tops were halter, strapless, tank and a wrap. They were able to pick tops they might use again. Try Watters and Watters. Best of luck to you.

I have seen something similar to this. It was the exact same style of dress, and some of the bigger girls opted for the design that had sleeves rather than being sleeveless. I've also seen weddings where all of the girls had the exact same dress, but the more modest ones wore little matching wraps around their shoulders. It looks great, and I don't see a problem with it. Why should your bridesmaids be uncomfortable in their good friend/family member's wedding?

In my wedding, I picked dresses that were sleeveless, but had high necks and in the back as well. They were also a flattering style, and had a nice waistline that wasn't clingy, so it hid hips, butt, etc. A big chest wasn't exposed as well. Two of my girls were bigger, and they worked well. Good luck!

Need advice about bridesmaids dresses. I am having probably 5-7 bridesmaid for my summer '08 wedding......

That is a nice idea. You should also make sure they are all the same length of dress.

Need advice about bridesmaids dresses. I am having probably 5-7 bridesmaid for my summer '08 wedding......

Actually this is a growing trend, so it is perfectly acceptable to pick a color but have each girl in a different style. Although most bridesmaid gifts from the bride are matching jewelry I don't necessarily think anything has to match as long as the color does. I am sure you will find the perfect styles!

I don't think you have to pick a maid of honor, but someone needs to stand next to you and be your main witness. As long as no one minds not having the title It shouldn't be the problem.

Need advice about bridesmaids dresses. I am having probably 5-7 bridesmaid for my summer '08 wedding......

I think you have the right idea about picking and color and letting each wear a dress to show off their figure. I just think that they should decided what they feel most comfortable in not you. You can still make it fun by going as a group shopping, just let them decided what they would like to wear. A great place to go is Davids Bridal. It is a chain so their might be one in your area. They have a ton of dress to choose from in the same color.

Need advice about bridesmaids dresses. I am having probably 5-7 bridesmaid for my summer '08 wedding......

I've help 2 weddings last year and 3 just recently. First and foremost, you have to pick the color. Then you have to confer w/ your bridesmaids what they think about the design. They can all have the same exact color w/ little variations w/ the style or design. Make sure the length are all the same. About the maid of honor, you have to pick the one closest to you and you think can help you. Maid of honor have duties to do, you know. She should be close or next you on your wedding ceremony. Help you fix your gown, hold your bouquet, etc. Have you started w/ your wedding invitation list? Good luck!!

Need advice about bridesmaids dresses. I am having probably 5-7 bridesmaid for my summer '08 wedding......

If you want happy, helpful bridesmaids then involve them as much as possible in choosing their own dresses. Instead of picking out a particular dress for each, give the group some general guidelines like hem length, sleeve length, sleeve width, shining or matte, and so on. Then let each maiden select half a dozen dresses that conform to these guidelines AND that she likes -- then submit her choices for comment by the other maidens and yourself. If you do this committee-style (instead of bride as boss style) then the committee will do a lot of your dirty work for you. Wouldn't you rather a maiden heard "Ew, yuck!" from the other maidens, not from you?

The idea that bridesmaids should be clones, like a Broadway musical chorus line, is fairly recent. If you look through old (pre-1950s) family albums you will see old-fashioned weddings where the attendants didn't even come close to matching. And they are beautiful pictures, too.

Congrats and best wishes.

Need advice about bridesmaids dresses. I am having probably 5-7 bridesmaid for my summer '08 wedding......

Your best place to look is http://flowergirlprincess.com They are always adding dresses to their catalog, and if you dont see what your looking for email them. They can get it.

Need advice about bridesmaids dresses. I am having probably 5-7 bridesmaid for my summer '08 wedding......

My best friend got married in August and she did something like this. There were 5 bridesmaids, and I was the maid of honor. She picked out about dresses in about 4 different styles for the bridesmaids to choose from in the sam lemon yellow color, while I wore a lemon yellow dress with a white trim so I could stand out a bit. It worked out for everyone. The bridesmaids were able to choose their dresses, so they were happy. We all had similar, but unique jewelry. It looked great!

Need advice about bridesmaids dresses. I am having probably 5-7 bridesmaid for my summer '08 wedding......

look at targt.com for BM dresses they have a designer (famous) that does it,

Need advice about bridesmaids dresses. I am having probably 5-7 bridesmaid for my summer '08 wedding......

A lot of designers do what are called "seperates" which make it easier for the bridesmaids to find what will flatter them. After Six and Alfred Angelo come to mind

Need advice about bridesmaids dresses. I am having probably 5-7 bridesmaid for my summer '08 wedding......

Of course it's absolutely fine to do that. And that's exactly what I did at mine and it turned out beautifully. It's actually very trendy right now (walking of the clones isn't necessary anymore). I had sisters of all shapes and sizes. I gave them the color and they chose the dress that suited them best. They also had different jewelry and different shoes (same color)

Need advice about bridesmaids dresses. I am having probably 5-7 bridesmaid for my summer '08 wedding......

I am with ya! I chose the color (cornflower) and the designer (david's bridal), and told the maid of honor to pick a full length dress and the maids to pick out tea length. I made no specification as to which style-I figure, they are all different shapes and different people-they deserve to be individuals. I think it will look great-they will be similar by length and color and flowers, but the style will be more unique to them.

Need advice about bridesmaids dresses. I am having probably 5-7 bridesmaid for my summer '08 wedding......

I think it would be acceptable. Yeah. I got my dresses from bridalbassique.com, I think that was the website. I did that with the jewelry and shoes, same color different styles. Since some wanted heels, some flats, some drop earrings and some studs. I suppose the same applies to dresses. Go for it. As for maid of honor, is one of them your sister, or which one have you known the longest? Which one do you think has helped or will help out the most, be the most available?

Good luck and God Bless.

Need some ideas for a quick n easy, short feminine style?

I am in a play which is based on Freaky Friday and explores sibling rivalry and gender differences. Instead of the mother and daughter swapping, the brother and sister swap in this case. It's a bit of a farce and I am a guy playing both me and my sister. Like the movie, the scene is set around the time of the mom getting remarried. There's one point in the play where the brother can't handle his sisters long hair anymore (wig) so he gets it cut. The sister is horrified when she sees what he's done to her hair that's taken her years to grow. Added to that she's already feeling like she's missing out getting "dolled up" for the wedding. So she gets a friend (who secretly likes her brother but wishes he was more sensitive and less macho) to style his hair into something more feminine for the wedding.

I need some ideas for the above since when playing the girl role I will be wearing a wig, but for the guy part it will be my real hair.

My hair is about 3-4 inches long (play is 2 months)

I need to buy a suit for my cousin's wedding. What's hot at the moment?

Ideally I'd be able to wear it to work in the future as well I suppose, any help with style much appreciated! If anyone could suggest UK high street stores that would be worth checking out that would be great too. PS, I'm 6'0", 77kgish (170lbs), dark hair green eyes. Thanks everyone :o)

I need to buy a suit for my cousin's wedding. What's hot at the moment?

Who cares what you are wearing, do you need a date?

Actually, go into a few places that sell suits and get different ideas. Go with an open mind. Have a budget and tell the sales person how much your budget is. Different companies have different cuts of suits and the people know how they fit and how they are suppose to feel. What really bothers me is going out with a guy that is not comfortable in his clothing, probably because it wasn't fitted properly.

I need to buy a suit for my cousin's wedding. What's hot at the moment?

buy her the o.c season 1

I need to buy a suit for my cousin's wedding. What's hot at the moment?

Sophisticated blouse, small scarf, light colored jacket, knee high skirt or below, and slip on closed toe solid work shoes. And pearl jewelry.

I need to buy a suit for my cousin's wedding. What's hot at the moment?

a white dhoti or a lungi (look it up) black/brown sandles and a simple white cloth wrapped around your head to resemble a turban! no need to worry about size or cost or about where to get it from. its always in fashion and never goes out. you can be the first to introduce it to the west as a fashionable outfit! i wouldn't waar it to work though, or you could that would be interesting to see.

ps i'm assuming your male.

Help!!! Trying to find perfect dress for a small wedding ceremony!!!!?

Well I am hoping to find a sundress type at the knee or a little above.

colors-- white, light light green, ecru, beige...

style--- hoping for like 1950's style boatneck party dress, will do with what is available, cannot have low low neckline (like showing cleavage, have tattoo) flowy, I don't know

I am a big busted girl iam 38'' on top have 32'' and have 38''on bottom. Ummmmm have brown hair.

Anyways i have been looking for weeks on the net have'nt really had any luck, someone please help!!! I would be very grateful thanks!!!

Help!!! Trying to find perfect dress for a small wedding ceremony!!!!?

You could order from j-crew. They're over-priced I think, for a catalog company, but do have a boat neck one like you're talking about. I actually have a pink one just like you described as a bridesmaid dress, but know they have white also.

Are you the bride - Im confused. Just looked at j-crew, and they really only have them now in bridesmaid type colors. Otherwise try the amazon, they're great for being able to see multiple retailers. Also dept stores like Nordstrom - http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/2911381/0~23...

Help!!! Trying to find perfect dress for a small wedding ceremony!!!!?

i'm not sure exactly where you can get the dress, but DO NOT WEAR WHITE!!!!!!! it's sort of rude because it looks like you're trying to upstage the bride. the really light green sounds pretty though, and the color would compliment your hair. good luck!

Help!!! Trying to find perfect dress for a small wedding ceremony!!!!?

Dear Miss 50's,

Believe it or not, Davids Brida (http://www.davidsbridal.com ) has the cutes 50 style dresses, and for a very reasonable price.

Go to the bridesmaid's section on the site and click on the mix and match seperates. They have a very pretty green I think would look very nice on you.

Good Luck!

I got hair pieces for 2 of my bridesmaids last year %26amp; they had theirs in buns, it looked fab, your friend is right mind I had a nightmare trying to decide how to have them, sometimes the simplised things are the best, the hair peices are matched to your own hair colour %26amp; providing your hair dresser is good, you cant tell, they cost 49quid each %26amp; looked like a long pony tail, also claires accessories for hair are lovely %26amp; not too pricey.

Is there a mascara-like hair product that I can use to cover the grays at my part line?

I have to attend a wedding tomorrow evening %26amp; want to cover some of the grays that show in my part line when my hair is styled. I'd like it to be similar to a mascara that I can just brush on over the grays.

Is there a mascara-like hair product that I can use to cover the grays at my part line?

they arent the best and quite hard to get hold of

i would buy a hair tonner wash in wash out one buy one to your closest hair shade all the big hair colour names do them.

Is there a mascara-like hair product that I can use to cover the grays at my part line?

There is, it's a "Nic'n'easy" product.

Is there a mascara-like hair product that I can use to cover the grays at my part line?

Yes there is. Not sure where you are from but you can find it at walmart. Its called root touch up.

Is there a mascara-like hair product that I can use to cover the grays at my part line?

Nice n' easy root touch up is your best bet. It has an easy applicator and can be used on the places you want - not all over. Its not too expensive and has a wide range of colours. It is also widely available in mnay shops - at least in the UK I dont know where your from but good luck :)

In need of some inexpensive dress ideas for attending my brothers wedding in Florida In March.?

I don't have alot to spend on a decent dress. I'm about a size 18 (I'm thinking for a dress size). Wear a 42" large C cup. So.. nothing that will show TOO much cleavage. Just because I have it, doesn't mean I want to show the world ALL of my goods.

I have brown hair and hazel eyes. The colors that I like on me are Reds, greens, blues, browns, pinks, white and black (but both are not appropriate for a wedding).

would like to know if I should wear something with a print, or just a solid color (not black, since it is a wedding). Long or short? Sleeves or none?

I'm not very fond of my knees showing, but don't mind wearing straps. I like empire waist styles.

Links would be VERY helpful!

I do not have a full body picture... but you can get the idea of how I look with this one. http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/...

10 points to the person that leads me to the best style for my body type but is also a cheaper buy (under $50).

In need of some inexpensive dress ideas for attending my brothers wedding in Florida In March.?

I love this dress, if the wedding is somewhat casual then I think it would be perfect!

In need of some inexpensive dress ideas for attending my brothers wedding in Florida In March.?

It depends on what kind of wedding it is. Indoor, outdoor, formal, or casual? How many people are coming? Also what time is the wedding (morning, afternoon, evening)? And has the bride selected bridesmaids dresses? If so pix of those would be helpful. Please provide more details.

I need wedding shoes that wont make me tower over my fiance! Anybody know where I can find some shor

My fiance is 5'8''-5'9'' and boxy and I am 5'7.5'' and very skinny so if we're standing next to each other the way I'm built makes me look taller than him as it is on a normal day. We're getting married and I have my dress ordered but it already comes up off of thee floor without any shoes on. I can MAYBE go up to two inch heels MAX!!! Plus I cant realy wear anything bigger than that b/c or my fiances hight and build. I know with my shoes and hair I dont want to tower over him like a monster!!! I just think that looks weird...on the other hand I dont want to sacrifice style and quality because I'm tall!!!

Can anyone please tell me good places to look for 1-2 inch heels that are still stylish sexy and/or cute??? I need to find something that still has a "wow" factor (yes my shoes need a "wow" factor) but is still low. Please no flip flops or slippers. My dress is VERY formal and I need shoes to match! Thanks in advance for any help!!!

I need wedding shoes that wont make me tower over my fiance! Anybody know where I can find some short heels?

That's tough...usually 1-2in shoes are mules...so then you "clomp, clomp, clomp" down the aisle. I'm about the same height as my husband...and I decided to wear lime green ballerina flats. They were nice, not flip-flop with fake flower crap and completely COMFORTABLE. They were by Guess (from Nordstroms) and had lime green gems on the top---my colors were orchid green and *******. But I just got back our proofs and he is just a little bit taller than me...so mission accomplished. (I don't know if you're considering ballerina flats slippers.) Also, if you have photos outside be cautious of stilettos and sinking into the grass. This is a strange place to look, but Target bridal (on line)...I know, but they do have bridal shoes and they aren't that bad. The other place I would try would be some on line ballroom dance stores. They usually have 1-2 in heels and have straps so they will definitely stay on.

I need wedding shoes that wont make me tower over my fiance! Anybody know where I can find some short heels?

Why not purchase white satin jazz or white ballet shoes. They are reasonably priced and very stylish.

I need wedding shoes that wont make me tower over my fiance! Anybody know where I can find some short heels?

My wife wore slippers so I would be taller then her instead of the same height.

I need wedding shoes that wont make me tower over my fiance! Anybody know where I can find some short heels?

check on the nordstrom on line. www.nordstrom.com

I need wedding shoes that wont make me tower over my fiance! Anybody know where I can find some short heels?

I need wedding shoes that wont make me tower over my fiance! Anybody know where I can find some short heels?

eave you ever thought to get him special shoes for men that have a slight higher heel?..

also maybe there are shoe repair shops in your area that you can get the store to cut and lower the heal or replace the heal on a favorite pump for the occasion

I need wedding shoes that wont make me tower over my fiance! Anybody know where I can find some short heels?

You might consider a dressy pair of flats- simple can look nice with leather soles. Either that or just don't worry about it.

I need wedding shoes that wont make me tower over my fiance! Anybody know where I can find some short heels?

Consider getting shoes with a kitten heel. There are also mules and slingbacks, and depending on the colors and styles, can look very elegant.

I need wedding shoes that wont make me tower over my fiance! Anybody know where I can find some short heels?

i bought my shoes at Payless, the dye able kind. they had a lower kind of heel, some were less than 2 inches plus they were reasonably priced.

I need wedding shoes that wont make me tower over my fiance! Anybody know where I can find some short heels?

How about a pair of totally NON CASUAL bejeweled/beaded flats?

Or a very short heeled strappy shoe in silver, with lots of glitz and shine that wouldn't take away from the dress, wouldnt make you tower, but would still have that 'formal wow factor' you're looking for?

I don't know your style very well, so I'm not going to place any links or pictures, but you might google 'formal beaded flats', or 'strappy heels'? Maybe then you'll find more of what you are looking for. :]

Good luck, and congratulations!!

I need wedding shoes that wont make me tower over my fiance! Anybody know where I can find some short heels?

i just got married in may and the really popular wedding shoe is called the wedding slipper. you wont really see them anyway so you dont need a sexy pair of strappy heels. plus wedding slippers is probably the only way to not look taller than your husband in your pictures since i assume you have an updo picked out for your hair

I need wedding shoes that wont make me tower over my fiance! Anybody know where I can find some short heels?

I was in the same situation as you! My husband and I are both 5-6". These are the shoes I wore:

http://www.myglassslipper.com/products2....

Have a look around their site, they have a lot of low-heeled but classy shoes.

I need wedding shoes that wont make me tower over my fiance! Anybody know where I can find some short heels?

You're in luck, because right now there are some pretty spectacular flats and very low heels on the market. They're actually (pardon the pun) the height of fashion, so it won't look like you're uncomfortable with your small height difference but more in tune with the current trends. Here are a couple sources I found with a quick Google search:

http://www.perfectdetails.com/bridal_sho...

http://www.nextag.com/dyeable-flat-shoes...

http://www.elegant-wedding-shoes.co.uk/w...

http://frenchsoleshoes.com

Take a look at a couple of these and see if you find something you like. Most of them also carry low (1-2") heels as well as outright flats.

Since your skirt is hemmed a bit off the floor, you might even consider matching your shoes to your wedding colors, if that sounds fun to you. I actually wore a pair of bright red Scottish dancing ghillies, and they looked wonderful peeking out from my skirt.

Whatever you do, make sure your shoes are comfortable. After all, you're going to be on your feet all day. Even though my husband is a foot taller than I am, I'm really glad I chose flat shoes for my wedding. Not only did I not wind up with my heels sinking in the ground (it was an outdoor wedding), but my feet, legs and back still felt great when we left our reception.

I need wedding shoes that wont make me tower over my fiance! Anybody know where I can find some short heels?

sounds like me lol....i found the cutest shoes on ebay..strap around the ankle and everything the heel was only one inch...now i need to sell mine! they were white with rhinestones and ribbons PERFECt i just got married in june

You can find shoes with low heels anywhere that sells shoes. I'm sorry, maybe i'm dense, but I honestly don't see what the problem is. Walmart, Kmart, payless, shoe carnival, the mall, sears, jcpenney, dillards, ross, kohls, tj maxx.

I need wedding shoes that wont make me tower over my fiance! Anybody know where I can find some short heels?

I know these aren't very "wow", but I love them. The heel is 1 1/2 inches with a leather sole and very comfortable. Since they are Coloriffics, you can dye them afterwards to use again, which is always cost effective than having dust collector wedding shoes.

Good luck and congratulations!

I need wedding shoes that wont make me tower over my fiance! Anybody know where I can find some short heels?

I'm in the same boat as you are. I'm 5'8" and my fiance is 5'9". I got these shoes at the Wedding Accessory Superstore in Phoenix. I found them online for you. The heel is very short, but it still looks elegant because it is thin, not the clunky ugly ones most low heels have. Also, the straps that go over the toes are really pretty. I would highly recommend these. They look really beautiful on!!!

Hair color?

I have shoulder length brunett hair, I want a change, I'm thnking of either stawberry blonde or a slight red head. which one sounds more cute ? Also right now my hair is straight, should I go with more style? I want to do this by this weekend for a wedding. I'm 5'5 and very petiete.

Hair color?

My hair was about like yours...and I wanted a change, too. When I did it everyone said it looked great, so maybe you can try this.

I got my hair trimmed, and layered. I got bangs swept to the side a bit (nothing outrageous). I got red high lights (or lowlights..whichever you call it) put in all around, and I have to say it looked good.

The thing is, you can do the red by yourself, if you're brave enough.

But to answer your questions, slight red sounds better than strawberry blonde.

Hair color?

I would go red because going blond all at one time can really screw up your hair. I think red is really cute on people your size. It also depends on what you are going to wear to the wedding I would put the two colors together with the clothihng in my head and see if they clash.

Hair color?

i'm going for the stawberry blonde.. i'm not big on red heads... sorry but it's true...

keith

Hair color?

be careful- going lighter can sometimes look brassy if you dont have a good stylist.- but i say red

Hair color?

go with red or red highlights. Strawberry blonde might turn your hair orange if its too dark.

In India, preference will be given to Bride only. There are many occasions Bride groom slips away with Brides maid. So your sister-in-law has only selected a correct Bride maid for her safety. dont worry about your long and straight hair, See that your sister-in-law's future is straight and long like your hair.

This is a brotherly, friendly kind advice.

Now you are crying for hepl!!!!!!!!!!! If i sugest you a web site your sister-in-law will cry for help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HELP!!!!! Last minute wedding deciscions?

Ok, here's a question:

WHY does she want you in curls?

I mean, if that's not how you normally wear your hair, why is she now dictating it? I don't believe I ever heard of that. I know my wife didn't do it to her bridesmaids.

Ok, with that out of the way, here are some websites:

HELP!!!!! Last minute wedding deciscions?

What if you wore your hair up in a french twist, with curls thruout the sides, or what if you put lots of different little curls through out your hair and pulled it back?? Or you could just type in the search engine elegant curly hair styles for weddings

Good Luck.

HELP!!!!! Last minute wedding deciscions?

If your hair is long and straight, the chances of it successfully lasting through a whole wedding without losing it's curl is pretty slim.

You need to visit a hairstylist and get a professional opinion on what your hair can and can't do.. it would be worth the money to have a 'trial run' done on your hair.

I hope bridezilla doesn't expect you to get a perm!

What did/does your wedding veil look like?

How did you wear your hair with the style of veil?

Thanks

What did/does your wedding veil look like?

I am making my own cathedral-length single layer veil and its almost done, and it's really turned out beautifully! Im going for my trial hair tomorrow so im not quite sure how it will be, but I will be removing the veil for the reception.

What did/does your wedding veil look like?

Hello! I had long straight hair at the time of the wedding. I had it all curled in large curls and pinned in an up-do. I had a side part for my side-swept bangs. I wore a small tiara (that attached to my hairdo via a small comb). I wore a candlelight white cathedral-length viel under my updo. It had a comb that slid into my hair. I wore both pieces for the wedding %26amp; then removed the veil afterwards (because it was so long!). Hope this helps! Good luck!

What did/does your wedding veil look like?

I wore my hair with a deep side part and then pulled up in the back and curled. My crown sat kind of on top of the curls and my veil was attached to a comb that was stuck under the curls. The veil had two layers and hung just past my shoulders.

What did/does your wedding veil look like?

The veil that I will be getting is elbow length with red lining the bottom to match the bow that is on my dress. I will have my hair half up with large curls all over.

May 10,2008 wedding

What did/does your wedding veil look like?

Alot of women now days are just going with the tiera alone which brings your face out alot more bc I think the veil takes away from the face

What did/does your wedding veil look like?

Had fairly short hair, long enough to be loosely curled though, with wispy bangs. Wore a small tiara with a fingertip veil.

What did/does your wedding veil look like?

I will be wearing my hair the way I usually do-half pulled up. My veil is fingertip length, two-layered. It has a scalloped edge that has pearl beading along each scallop. I am not wearing a headpiece-just the comb tucked into the back, nor will I be having the veil cover my face at all. The verdict is still out as to whether or not I will be wearing it for the reception-I might just get a pretty hairclip and replace the veil with the hairclip for the reception.

Could this be pulled off?

http://www.brides.com/fashion/dresses/ga...

if the bride were around 5'6, around 140 lbs (a fairly athletic build with a relatively flat chest), dark ash blonde hair in a similar, soft style and somewhat natural makeup.

what kind of shoes/ flowers would you reccommend if the wedding were to take place at night under the stars in late summer...

thank you!

Could this be pulled off?

Go for a night flowering bloom, that would be great. I like Jasmine.

For the flat chested-ness, Get a good corset, they are great at accentuating boobs. They also often come with fillers, just to give you that little bit of extra size, and it looks natural.

I think that, if the dress was taken up a bit, you could probably go for bare feet on the sand :)

If not, strappy heels are always a winner.

Could this be pulled off?

5'6" and 140 would look good in that outfit.

Sandles with modest wedge and wildflowers sound good.

Could this be pulled off?

I think it could be pulled off, it's a really nice dress...very old-fashion romantic.

Could this be pulled off?

That is a pretty dress and I'm sure it would look good on the body you described, but you should try it on just to be sure you like the way it looks on you. I would do ballet slippers with the wedding that you described. Find out what flowers are in season in that locale and use them for your bouquets. I hope you get a starstruck night! Good luck!

Could this be pulled off?

To be honest, the dress is beautiful except for the neckline. If you have a relatively flat chest and an athletic build, the deep wide scoop neckline might make your chest look flatter. The same dress with a v-neck or sweetheart (curved) neckline would probably be much nicer.

Could this be pulled off?

Very nice, and empire waistlines have been in for a while now. This style of dress actually looks better on people with a flatter chest, so i think you will look gorgeous.

I would reccommend you wear round toe shoes with a slight heel and soft tulips might be nice with it:

http://www.pbase.com/gatolisto/image/582...

or

http://www.floralsunique.com/images/Tuli...

Could this be pulled off?

Good choice! I think ballet flats would be perfect (or Grecian sandals that wrap around the legs), and a simple white bouquet of calla lilies or a single rose (white or color of your choice) would work well.

Alternatives to flowers are walking down the aisle with crystal boquets, rosasry beads, a Bible, or a lighted covered candle. Ask the local shops for flower choices.

Enjoy your big day and gorgeous dress!

Could this be pulled off?

That is alot of dress for lady with your build. I like the "style" of the dress,IE the empire waist and color. But how it's sewn would be overwhelming. I would suggest a simpler cut of the empire waist. Something definitely more form fitting. Your 5'6 and 140. Show off that pretty figure of yours.

Here is a suggestion for the same style but a different cut from www.davidsbridal.com

http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridal_gowns...

http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridal_gowns...

I would suggest contacting a florist in the area, and see what flowers will be in season during that time. That way you know exactly what is available, and you can go from there. Good luck

Could this be pulled off?

It's just not very bridal. You can find a casual dress, still having that 'bride' feeling, I would think.

Could this be pulled off?

i think with your height, the dress is going to eat you alive!

hear me out, not trying to be mean. With that much fabric at the bottom of the dress, and your shorter stature, the poof will only make you look even smaller. If you've already tried the dress on, and love it... i could be wrong (doesnt happen often though).

May i suggest a dress with a little less fabric below the waist. A sleek column dress makes pretty much everyone look tall and elongated. But that is just my personal opinion.

Wedding dress?

whats the best style of dress if your size 12/14, with long curly natural red hair.am not a dress type of girl and i am not very tall..please help.( uk cheshire) this is my boyfriends page

Wedding dress?

Corset style, no straps or you could have spaghetti straps (but i'd say no straps), it'll tighten your waist so its looks smaller, and accentuate your boobs, then from just below the waist the dress should begin to flare out. Simple and elegant, as too much poofiness and flowers and netting etc will make you look really big. An off white colour is always gorgeous, much more flattering and classy than white, plus off white will look like a dream against your hair colour.

Wedding dress?

The best thing to do is to go to a bridal shop and try on wedding gowns until you find one that is flattering. The sales people can assist you.

Wedding dress?

You really should go to a bridal specaility shop and just have a field day trying on dresses until you decide on which you like. Noone knows you like you know yourself.

Wedding dress?

personally an A-line cut looks nice on curvy figures. The best thing to do is take a friend or someone and go and try on as many as you can....you know when you find the right dress. Im not a dress kind of person either.

Wedding dress?

Oh I love weddings!! My advice to you would be to get a strapless dress as they are very flattering on any size lady. I went for a heavily beaded corset top, first to hold me in nicely and secondly to take everyones attention away from my flabby arm bits...And if you have beautiful red curly hair I would suggest you get it put up in curls tussling down, rather than perfectly in place..nice droppy curls...showing your neck line is always stunning and with you hair up it makes you look taller..believe me I know..Im about 5 foot nothing..Good Luck!!

Wedding dress?

wrap dresses r the best for short curvey ladys go for a rich dark colour like dark purple don't have to much detail on the tummy area cause u want to draw attention away from ur tummy.

What do you think...?

about this dress?

http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/in...

I'd be wearing it to my boyfriend's cousin's wedding this August.

If you do like it, tell me what shoes and accessories you'd wear with it! Also, I have long, layered blonde hair. What kind of style do you think would go well with this dress? I'm looking for opinions and ideas so please be honest :)

What do you think...?

I think it is very pretty and would go with black stillatoes, and dangly earings. I think yoiu should also add a black and white clutch purse. Your hair woudl look pretty down with like a barette or headband!

Enjoy the wedding!

What do you think...?

You're welcome. =) This dress looks extremely cute as well! Reminds me a lot of my style and I hope this wedding goes great for you too! Report It

What do you think...?

im glad you chose bubbles, cuz i helped her with tha!!!! Report It

What do you think...?

its cute!

What do you think...?

its good for a wedding! get it!

What do you think...?

it makes the size 0 model look fat... that's never a good sign.

What do you think...?

i like it . get white elegant stilletos with a black ribbon on it. for your hair try doing something simple. For accesories

What do you think...?

CUTE, CUTE, CUTE!

i think black high heels would look great!

What do you think...?

I love it. You can wear it wet black strappy shoes, stud earrings and a necklace.

What do you think...?

To be honest I don't really like it. BUt if you do I totally think it would look awesome with black heels, a black headband, black nails and a black clutch. HAVE FUN!

What do you think...?

I really like the dress.Other than that I really can't help you out sorry.

What do you think...?

ohh! very cute! i would maybe add a pop of color in the clutch or some cute flats. and some bangles. your hair up and teased at the crown would be cute.

What do you think...?

It is a very cute dress for an august wedding. Don't wear big shoes. Wear little, simple white shoes [ summer color ] with a short necklace and dangly earings. Also, Don't put your hair up . Maybe half up and half down, don't use too much of your hair though. I have layered hair and doing an up-do isn't exactly easy or cheap, depending on your hair's length. Make sure you don't wear too much make-up either. You wouldn't want your boyfriend's family to get the wrong impression.

What do you think...?

i think the dress is adorable, i have one similar to it that i wore to a wedding last month. i wore black beaded bracelets with it, and a simple white gold cross necklace. you could do a elegant up do or straight and down. i think a single strap high heel would look nice.

What do you think...?

Keep hair your down and accessories simple, the dress is loud enough (but very pretty!). Black strappy sandals would go great with the outfit, or some nude wedges if you'll have to navigate an outdoor wedding.

What do you think...?

YES, luv. NICE.

What do you think...?

try wearing some black heels and go with silver accessories.

for your hair, try going with the style i have on my icon; a small pump in the middle and your hair in a ponytail to the side.

some smokey eyes, mascara, a little bit of pink blush, and a nice bright pink or red for your lips would do good for make-up.

What do you think...?

ooh id wear red peep toe pumps with that to add some color to it. if i were you id straighten my hair

What do you think...?

i love it! maybe some pearls maybe a cute headband they have the ones with the scarf like this

http://cgi.ebay.com/HEADBAND-SCARF-SOLID...

What do you think...?

love it %26lt;3 id def wear black high heels, and maybe a nice light neckolace, but with the way the straps go u might not even need one, id stick with just black and white for the accesories too

What do you think...?

It's a really cute dress but I personally would never wear it to a wedding but it would look cute with black high heels and a diamond necklace hope my advice helps

What do you think...?

ITS REALLY REALLY CUTE!! GET IT!!!

What do you think...?

I love it black strappy shoes and where your hair up. Not too much in accessories don't want to over do it.

What do you think...?

It is sooooooooooooooo fricken adoorable it is the perfect choice go for it!! I love it!

What do you think...?

I love the dress find some open toe shoes to wear and with that how about some long pretty silver or black earrings and possibly a bracelet.

What do you think...?

As long as u have the body for it its cute, wear black heels, a headbandy scarfy thing and pretty white or black hoops.

What do you think...?

oooo! how cute!!! i absolutely love it!!!

for the shoes i would do some black wedges, mayb? or if you want a pop of color do some red heels, with accessories. i don't kno about the hair tho...

i bet you'll look great at the wedding. have fun!

What do you think...?

omg its adorable!

i would wear a pair of black heels, (strapless)

and a white short jacket with a little black purse.

wear your hair halfway =)

CUTE OUTFIT!!!

hope this helps %26lt;3

What do you think...?

the dress is very cute :)

i would wear some simple black wedges and for your hair, you should curl it all.

if you have bangs, maybe pull them back into a poof,

or put a clip on the side of your hair that is a nice match.

you could also try an up do, :)

What do you think...?

its a lovely dress but only for a tall slim girl.

don't need jewelry for halter neck.

up-style would be lovely for your hair

accessorize with a silver clutch and silver high wedges sandals.

What do you think...?

very cute dress! Classy! I would do a cute updo, nothing too fancy though, keep it simple.

Go simple on the accessories too, maybe a pair of pearl or diamond earrings...

And some cute black heels will do the trick

good luck!

What do you think...?

That is 1 stunnin dress, im sure ull look amazing in it

What do you think...?

it total matches your personality

I need african american men's braided hairstyles. can you tell me where to find them online (w

my friend is in a wedding in Sept and he needed a suggestion for his hair. i told him to braid the front, then put singles in the back and put it up in a ponytail (like the guy from the group Pretty Ricky). i think that would look NICE, but he doesn't like it.

his hair is always cornrowed back in different styles, but he needs a new look that will make him look good in his tux (seeing that he is one of the Best Men in the wedding). his hair is medium length, well, to his jawbone. he's light skinned and has nice light brown eyes. he needs something that will compliment his features....actually, he looks like Trey Songz....SERIOUSLY!!

so now u know what to work with...lol.

anyway, i need a great site that has pictures of black men with braids. if u can help me that would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Will these bridesmaid hairstyles work with side-sweeps(pictures)?

I'm a bridesmaid in my cousins wedding, and I planned on a posh updo until I picked up the gown.

It is very, very over-the-top for a bridesmaid gown. It's from this designer, only from 2006 so it's not on the site: http://www.savoysfashion.com/index.htm

Lots of beading, ruffles, rouching, and it's fucshia!

So I really want a simple hairstyle and simple makeup, so I won't look overdone or outshine the bride, as they say.

Will these styles work with my hair, when it has side-bangs?

Also, which do you think is better? I'm aiming for simple, elegant, and young - I'm only sixteen, so I don't want to overdo it.

Thanks in advance!

Will these bridesmaid hairstyles work with side-sweeps(pictures)?

Definately the second picture. If your dress is crazy then you will want your hair to be simple and elegant.

Will these bridesmaid hairstyles work with side-sweeps(pictures)?

the dress.....woah! don't take away from the brides appearance.

fucshia....might be a little too flashy for a wedding. but whatever.

hair......yes those styles work with side bangs (i did it all the time when i had sidebangs) aaannnddd i like the second one...the curls are looser.

Will these bridesmaid hairstyles work with side-sweeps(pictures)?

WOOW i love da second pic da sexy one dat ones awesome hahah

Will these bridesmaid hairstyles work with side-sweeps(pictures)?

tha second one would be very nice. :]

Will these bridesmaid hairstyles work with side-sweeps(pictures)?

I think the second one was beautiful you would go right with that one

Will these bridesmaid hairstyles work with side-sweeps(pictures)?

i like the 2nd one.

its not too over the top but still classy.

Products and suggestions for hair growth?

I went to get my hair cut yesterday, showing the stylist a layered, shoulder length style in a magazine that I loved. I specifically said, "I want this, but I want to keep my length." Well, long story short, she misunderstood and a second before I realized what she was doing, 8 inches of hair was cut off. I haven't had shoulder length hair since I was 12 and I'm used to loooong big hair like Eva Mendes. I'm soooo unhappy! and I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding in about 3 weeks. My hair already grows really fast- just over an inch a month- but I want to try a product that may speed this up. Even another inch would make me feel better!

Thanks!!!

Products and suggestions for hair growth?

Prenatal Vitamins

Products and suggestions for hair growth?

You can't take anything or do anything to make your hair grow faster than its genetically programmed to grow (except maybe get pregnant lol but dont do that just to have longer hair)..

Vitamins with biotin like GNC sells claim to promote 'healthy hair growth', but thats about it. Anything that you buy that claims to grow hair is just a scam. Jojoba oil on your scalp and vitamins will help the hair you do grow out grow out healthy and stronger than before, but nothing till make your hair grow faster.

Hair Styles Tips

http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-42eT_e8_b...

What to do about wedding dress drama?

I went dress shopping with my mom and a friend of mine. I tried on all different styles of dresses and shades of white. I feel that a pure white dress just makes me washed out with my fair skin and blonde hair - however my mother thinks different. She feels that its tradition to wear an all white dress..that pure white is a bride - not a bride wearing a champagne color dress.. I feel like I'm disappointing her by not wanting pure white. What do I do?

What to do about wedding dress drama?

The bottom line is that you need to feel completely comfortable in the dress you wear because otherwise it will show in your demeanor and your face and, most importantly, your pictures - which will last a lifetime. If you feel comfortable in a champagne colour, than buy a champagne colour dress. Based on what you have described your appearance to be, I would avoid pure white myself as well. Your mom is coming from the tradition that brides have to wear white because it symbolizes virginity. Whether that is true to your situation or not, it's an old fashioned and outdated opinion. Your photographer will be taking pictures of you all day long and if you do not feel 110% comfortable in your wedding dress, it will radiate in the pictures. If your mom is being obstinant about this you'll have to sit her down and explain it to her. The bottom line is it is your choice and she needs to learn to respect that.

What to do about wedding dress drama?

Try to find an inbetween color. I am very fair skin and my dress is called diamond white. It isn't BRIGHT white but it is still white. See if you can find a happy medium try some ivory ones on not as far as the color champagne. But remember this is your wedding wear what makes you happy. I know that is hard and everyone says that. It is sooooo hard to do!

What to do about wedding dress drama?

Find one that you love. It is your wedding not your mother's. She will get over it. The dress will not be the most important thing in the long run. She may be disappointed for a little while, but when it comes to the day, she will be happy no matter what color the dress is.

What to do about wedding dress drama?

YOU NEED TO SATISFY YOURSELF EVEN THOUGH I AGREE WITH MOMMA!

I FEEL LIKE HER AND I ALREADY HAVE KIDS AND EVERYTHING BUT I STILL WANT TO FEEL LIKE A BRIDE AND THE DINJY, OFF-WHITE OR CHAMPAGNE LOOK JUST ISN'T GONNA GET IT. BESIDES, ITS MY WEDDING AND WHOEVER DOESN'T LIKE IT DOESN'T HAVE TO SHOW UP.

What to do about wedding dress drama?

You should go with something YOU like after all, though they might not realize it at the time it is YOUR wedding. If you really feel that you don't want to disapoint your mother you could keep the dress all white, but then on the top maybe have some lace, or something extra added in a rose, or a lighter color of your choice that brings the warmth back to you instead of washing you out.

What to do about wedding dress drama?

Wake up girl are you going to be a grown woman and stand up and start your own family or are you going to keep being Mommy's little girl. It is your wedding and if you wear a dress you do not want it is only your own fault. Tell you mother it is your dress, your wedding and your day and you are not going to wear a dress that makes you look washed out and feel less than your best and that is that. If you can't do that and make it stick, you are so not ready to get married.

What to do about wedding dress drama?

Order the color that looks best on you. As long as it is some shade of white, no one will know the difference. Look at the wedding photos in my profile and tell me what color my dress was. I bet you'll say white...

btw...assuming you don't just stand up to her, you could order the dress without your mom around and then tell her you got white...she'll never know.

What to do about wedding dress drama?

Mine was an Ivory off-white. My husband's tux was the same color. Our Jr brides maid and flower girl were in very light blue clearance Easter dresses that I picked up on a whim for $3 apiece...and they looked like they were custom made for the wedding. It's YOUR day. Do what YOU want!

What to do about wedding dress drama?

It's your special day, and you deserve to have the dress you want. I understand you don't want to hurt your mom's feelings, so maybe you can point out to her all the reasons why you look so terrible in a pure white gown. Have your friend back you up.

Good luck!

What to do about wedding dress drama?

Some brides even wear pink or blue now. It's your day and something that you will remember forever (hopefully in a good way). You will have to look at the pics and you will have to feel good about yourself. Go with the color that you choose.. it's your decision and if you are mature enough to make the decision of getting married you should be mature enough to be able to make your own choices. Your mother needs to let you have your day as you wish.

What to do about wedding dress drama?

go for the champaign colored dress, it is your wedding

What to do about wedding dress drama?

You choose what you want. You are paying for the gown, it is your wedding, do things your own way.

What to do about wedding dress drama?

It is your wedding...wear what you want. That generation has no idea about the personalizations and trends of weddings going on now. For them , white was the only color and anything else is unacceptable. Whatever you choose she will see that you are beautiful in...I am also blond with fair skin and I'm going to be wearing more of a pink color...my mom will hate it, but once she sees me, she'll get over it.

What to do about wedding dress drama?

1) it is your wedding. you do not have to please anyone but yourself and your husband to be.

2)many brides in previous eras wore colours, not white. white did not become popular for brides until Queen Victoria. try having a period wedding, that way you could look into colur symbolism from different periods (many of them, such as medieval times, blue was the colour of purity because of it's association with water, red was for fertility, and green was never worn because it was thoguht to hide premarital trysts(because it hides grass stains) and because people were afraid fairies would kidnap the bride because they like the colour green.

Overall it is YOUR wedding and YOUR dress, so wear whatever you want to...your mom will have to get over it.

What to do about wedding dress drama?

Diamond white is the purest, brilliantly blinding white you'll find alot of brides wearing if they buy their gowns from stores like David's Bridal. It rarely looks good on anyone, so don't fret, and don't get frustrated. It's understandable your mother wants to present you as the pure bride. Every mother does.

But it is your wedding. There are alternatives. It's not as though you're asking to wear purple. Not even champagne! Try to compromise with your mom about finding a pale creme or softer white. You might be able to ask for colour swatches to see the different shades the dresses can be ordered in. Ask the sales floor girls for options, it's what they are there to do.
