I'm getting married in a month, and have no idea how to have my hair styled. My hair is shoulder length and really thick and wavy. If anyone has any ideas or knows any good web sites with pics, please let me know. Thanx!

I have always liked barrel curls- large dramatic curls on your head. A stylist can put up barrel curls any way you like- more loose and flowing like this http://www.hairboutique.com/tips/tip7001... or it can be closer to your head. hairstylist who loves doing updos here! i need more info. though. what does the dress look like? what are your best features?worst features? how do you normally wear your hair? studies have been done that say men like their bride's hair natural looking. do you want to wear it natural, but elegant? all put up so it won't move in a hurricane?

take a picture of yourself with the dress on to see how your hair needs to be. for example: if you have a small head and a lot of hair and a big puffy dress then you need to have fullness to your hair so your head won't look really small and deformed. if you have a really big nose you don't want to pull your hair all the way off your face - it will make your nose appear bigger.

this should give you a good idea if not what to do then what not to do. good starting point anyway.

You should see your hairdresser. You can schedule an hours time and explain what you are doing, she will help you pick out the most flattering for your face and veil. Oh yeah, don't forget to take your veil to the appointment!
