stay away from fried food, take aways, biscuits, sweets, anything with mayonaise/dressings, no spread or full ream milk limit red meat eat regularly but eat apples etc that have high water content and not much food value, drink lots of water as your tummy feels full even though its just water. Do more exercise, go for walks or a swim, offer to take someone kids or dogs for a walk, if using public transport walk to a stop beyond one you usually catch it at and get off a stop earlier. Instead of using time saving devices like dish washers or clothes dryers.. do it by hand as it will be a little bit extra exercise and less time on yur hands to feel tempted to nibble on something.

First of all, never call yourself fat. Fluffy sounds so much better!
Eat properly and in moderation. Cut down on junk food such as sweets, crisps/chips, and junk foods such as McDonald's and KFC. Try not to eat between meals unless it is a fruit, and not so late at night.
I don't know too much about formal weddings as I got married at the registry office, and I wore my favorite skirt and top! We went to a pub afterward.
I put simple make up on my face. I don't like heavy make ups so I looked natural with a light pink blush and lipstick.
One rule for all others who attend the wedding, never try to outdo the bride when it comes to make up or dressing! Because it is her day, not yours! She deserves all the attention!
I am wishing you the best of luck as you begin a new life with your husband!

why not see a trainer. that's what everyone else i know does before they get married...
also, in terms of make up and hair, i think you should see a local stylist or rather a friend. try out different looks and see which one you'd be the most comfortable with and also which one photographs best.
