Long hairstyles?

I have long thick brown hair. I am attending a wedding on saturday. I'd like to wear my hair down, and maybe curl it or something. The problem is, I don't really know how to work a curling iron, and my hair will not hold a curl for 3 minutes (it is sooo straight). Any tips on how to style long hair, curling it, or just wearing it down? ANy websites with step by step pictures and directions??

Any help is reeealllly appreciated!

you should try a relly good curler, get soe ideas from friends, and ask if they have a curling iron you could borrow.

If you use a curling iron to curl it, use some SPRITS hair spray. that will hold the curls. its kind of like gel.

curling irons are pretty simple: prep your hair whith like curling serum or moose or something like that, make sure your hair is dry. you just take a about one inch piece of hair open the thing, slide it down to the bottom and twirl away from your face. hold for about 20-30 seconds then let go. do that to all or all the hair you want to be curled. finish with hair spray. hope that helped.

i had really long pinstraight hair too. when i wanted it to look nice i wore it in a low side pony tail and curled it i to a piece (starting farthest away from me) put a little cheap hair spray in it and curled it held for twenty seconds then slowly pinched the curled together and apart while movine the iron down and it usually came out nice and if you have a lot of hair as long as you curl it all the pieces on the outside are the most important

and after every culr i would hair spray that piece then when i was done i sprayed the whole thing

if you can though i would go to a stylist they'll do it and it'll look really good!
