I am making my own cathedral-length single layer veil and its almost done, and it's really turned out beautifully! Im going for my trial hair tomorrow so im not quite sure how it will be, but I will be removing the veil for the reception.

Hello! I had long straight hair at the time of the wedding. I had it all curled in large curls and pinned in an up-do. I had a side part for my side-swept bangs. I wore a small tiara (that attached to my hairdo via a small comb). I wore a candlelight white cathedral-length viel under my updo. It had a comb that slid into my hair. I wore both pieces for the wedding %26amp; then removed the veil afterwards (because it was so long!). Hope this helps! Good luck!

I wore my hair with a deep side part and then pulled up in the back and curled. My crown sat kind of on top of the curls and my veil was attached to a comb that was stuck under the curls. The veil had two layers and hung just past my shoulders.

The veil that I will be getting is elbow length with red lining the bottom to match the bow that is on my dress. I will have my hair half up with large curls all over.

Alot of women now days are just going with the tiera alone which brings your face out alot more bc I think the veil takes away from the face

Had fairly short hair, long enough to be loosely curled though, with wispy bangs. Wore a small tiara with a fingertip veil.

I will be wearing my hair the way I usually do-half pulled up. My veil is fingertip length, two-layered. It has a scalloped edge that has pearl beading along each scallop. I am not wearing a headpiece-just the comb tucked into the back, nor will I be having the veil cover my face at all. The verdict is still out as to whether or not I will be wearing it for the reception-I might just get a pretty hairclip and replace the veil with the hairclip for the reception.
