Ok, for some Reason Davids Bridal is always very warm. Take your hair and put it in a loose bun on the top of your head. As you try on dresses they will put crowns and veils on your head and a loose bun looks good with everything so you can get an idea of what you want for accessories (on top of saveing yourself from sweating)... as for the dresses... take a look at their web site and pick a few styles that you like (take down the style numbers) and ask to see thoes... then pick the shape that looks best on you... and ask them to show you more dresses with that general shape. Also... they have "wedding underwear" there. Its a corset to wear under the dress. You could be a size "0" and you are going to want to get the underwear. It helps the dress sit nicely on your body and you will be surprised where it can lift and push lol. It does make a difference. Remember one tip... you will know when you have the right dress. You will come out of the room... see yourself in the dress and smile and feel like you want to cry... thats the dress. If you dont get that reaction from any of the dresses... keep looking. You never want to settle... and its their job to keep putting you in dresses until you find one. Also, dont purchase one on the first day. Go back and try the dress on the next day to make sure. Bring a cameral with you too so that you can review the pictures and choose the dress that looks best on you. Good luck hun!

i would wear it up...but it depends on how you intend to wear it for your wedding (if you know) it seems like a lot of wedding gowns are best with updos (to show off neck lines and such) when i was trying on my dress i always pulled my hair back. have fun! (i had my dress made, so don't know about david's bridal, it really depends though on what looks best on your body type and what your vision or yourself all bridey is! have fun)

Putting on gowns and taking them off create static, frizzes and heat. Regardless, you want to be as close to 'the day' as possible, i.e., wear your hair the way you will on your wedding day. You will have a better feel for the look and those with you will have their breath taken away if your face is on and your hair is done. you feel good when you look good.
