How do I wear my hair with this wedding dress?

Do I need a veil? My hair is at shoulder length right now and I plan on growing it out (I have about 11 months until the big day!). Do I style it up or down? My wedding is in a castle if that helps.

I am going through the same thing as my wedding is in May 08 and my dress is strapless too. I like that on the picture she has it down but her's go past her shoulders. I would try to pin it up but maybe have some pieces hanging dangling on the sides or something like that and if you do not want a viel then get a crown or tiara. I am having a viel but not pulling it over my face just having it as it looks good with the dress.

First of all...that gown is SO BEAUTIFUL!! Priscilla of Boston has been around for years...I love her gowns!!

I live in Michigan too!! I have never heard of that venue before! It's beautiful.

It looks to be very formal...so I would wear it up...or part up and part down. Book a "trial" with your stylist a few months before the wedding. She/he will be able to give you good ideas. The veil is a personal choice. I do like them myself.

I think if you have long hair I think you should have it done so its back off your shoulders and away from your face BUT not up.Trailing down your back with little flowers and ribbon is what I would do.

I think it depends completely on how you like your face framed. Putting your hair back would be very beautiful, but I personally prefer hair worn down and curled.

I would make the decision based more upon your face structure than the style of your dress.

The dress and location are fantastic. I would wear my hair up, it looks mor polished that way, a small tiara at the front with a floral pattern to match the embroidery on the skirt and a very simple, no embelishment, veil that is at least hip length.
