Your wedding day hair style will depend on your dress. I'm taking a picture of me in my dress to my hair stylist and a photo of something I like, and then I'm going to let her loose (for practice first of course). I've always loved seeing brides with updo's, but there are different ideas. I've been looking at different styles online and found a couple that I thought would look good with my hair and my dress; I'll let the professional make the final judgement though. We'll see how it all turns out. Keep in mind too, that everyone's opinion is different (and I've found there are some very caddy people here). Hope my idea is somewhat helpful :) Good Luck!

do you have long or short hair? If you have long hair where some of it pulled up and the rest down with curly pieces. it will look really pretty.

For some great ideas go to www.theknot.com and loko at pictures in the hair gallery. You can also go to www.weddingchannel.com and see their hair gallery. I found some great idea there. I also went to Walmart and found a Bridal Hair Magazine for ideas.

let your stylist decide about a month before your wedding...make an appointment with her/him..and let them practice...if you dont like it you still have a month to change your mind. It really depends on the neck line of your dress.

I think you should always leave some hair down, it looks more natural
Style half up, half down, and wear it how you usually would for a special occasion, but have it done professionally so it will last all night and look extra fabulous
That way you still look like you

I have never seen a bride not look elegant and beautiful - you can do your hair any way you want. I would suggest searching online for hairstyles or bridal hairstyles - you can look at theknot.com also because they have a nice batch of pictures.
And also you can take into account the style of your dress, your jewelry and all that. For example if your dress is long and flowy it might look great with your hair down and in waves. If you are wearing big sparkly earrings that you want to show off, an updo is best. Also keep in mind the weather. If it's going to be very hot, you might not want your hair down. With a big dress on and all the stuff going on that day, it's gross but you'll probably sweat a little on the back of your neck and you don't want your hair to look like that.

Depends on the style of your dress. I've always like hair down in loose waves/curls for a more casual wedding. If it's more chic, maybe a bun at the nape of the neck, it's really pretty.

Here is one thing my grandma always told me (and she knows everything about fashion and style-she knows everything about anything!)---If you have a strapless, off the shoulder dress, or halter/spaghetti strap dress-you can wear your hair down. If you have long sleeves or a high necked dress wear it up. But always match the style of dress to the hairstyle and veil/headpiece. My dress is a ballgown and i am wearing my hair up with a tiara....kinda going for the whole princess look..........just make sure you have the right shape and size tiara for your dress and hair style.
